Around May 2021, Xportsnews reported that Jo Bo Ah was reviewing an offer to star in the drama Business Proposal as the female lead. He was offered the role of Shin Ha Ri, now played by Kim Sejeong.
However, Jo Bo Ah refused the offer, and chose Military Prosecutor Doberman instead. In the drama, he plays Cha Woo In, a new military prosecutor from the only daughter of a conglomerate.
