Beomgyu (which is written in Korean as 범규) is a singer and dancer from South Korea, Beomgyu is a singer from Daegu where he was born on March 13, 2001 with the birth name Choi Beom Gyu (which is written in Korean with 최범규). Now Choi Beom Gyu has joined a TXT group with the name Beomgyu as his stage name.
TXT is a boyband group formed by BigHit Entertainment, this group was formed with 5 members in it, and was officially introduced to the public in early 2019. The five members of the TXT group include Yeonjun, Soobin, Taehyun, Huening Kai and Beomgyu. The name TXT is derived from the abbreviation of the word Tomorrow x Together (which in Korean is written with ).
Beomgyu used to be a member of a rock band which later became a member of BigHit Entertainment and he became a BigHit trainee. Beomgyu was trained by BigHit to become a popular singer, dancer and idol. Beomgyu underwent a training period at BigHit for approximately 3 years, during which time he was trained in singing and dancing as well. Until early 2019, he was introduced as a member of the newest BihHit boy group, namely TXT.

Beomgyu was introduced by BigHit as a member of the 5th group TXT on January 20 2019, which made him the last member to be introduced, and most likely Beomgyu's position in this group as a vocalist and also a dancer.
Regarding Beomgyu's education, he is a student at Hanlim Multi-Arts School. Beomgyu is a child born in 2001, so right now he is still very young, even in January 2019 he is not yet 18 years old. Beomgyu at his school is quite famous, he became famous because he was a student with the highest or best grades compared to other friends.
