Launching the official UEFA website, Wednesday (6/10/2021), Euro 2024 which is the biggest football competition of European countries will be held in 10 cities in Germany in the next three years.
The Euro 2024 logo is designed based on the 55 colors of the flags of the countries that are members of the UEFA association. All the colors combined to form the roof of the Olympiastadion stadium.
The famous Henri Delaunay Cup is shown in the center of the logo, while the 24 colored wedges around the trophy represent the 24 EURO teams.
The logo, UEFA said, was an attempt to echo the diversity in which everyone is welcome.
Football is a place where everyone should feel at home and this logo is the first step in building a home in Germany for UEFA EURO 2024, UEFA said in a statement.
The creation of the EURO 2024 logo and branding is the result of a collaboration between UEFA, the German Football Federation (DFB) and 10 host cities which started in September 2018.

The creative agency VMLY&R Branding from Lisbon, Portugal, designed and developed the brand.

The UEFA EURO 2024 logo was unveiled in a spectacular light show in the presence of UEFA President Aleksander eferin, interim president of the German Football Association (DFB), Rainer Koch and UEFA EURO 2024 tournament director Philipp Lahm.
As well as the Mayor of Berlin, the Mayor of Dortmund, DüsseldorfGelsenkirchen and Stuttgart, representatives of the other host cities.
The event featured a spectacular light show culminating in the unveiling of the UEFA EURO 2024 logo.

UEFA EURO 2024 tournament director Philipp Lahm explained that this edition will be Euros for all. He hopes Germany can welcome football fans in the summer of three years.

The 51 UEFA EURO 2024 matches will be held at the ten host venues in Germany in June and July 2024. The full fixture schedule will be confirmed in early 2022.
