The official emblem or logo of the 2023 U-20 World Cup Indonesia has been launched by FIFA. The launch coincides with the 77th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia or just over nine months before rising stars begin their quest for glory.
The logo captures the electrifying energy of a tournament that will run from 20 May to 11 June 2023 and provides the foundation for football's top talents to become future legends.
Inspired by the colors of Indonesia's national flag, the dazzling turquoise sea and the currents flowing through its archipelago, the emblem's crown represents a global passion for the game across multiple continents.

The launch gives fans and players around the world a glimpse of what to expect next year as they explore the vibrancy, colour, diversity and celebratory spirit of a competition in the heart of Southeast Asia.
This will be the first FIFA competition to be held in Indonesia, and the launch of the official emblem is an exciting milestone in this journey, said FIFA Tournament Director Jaime Yarza.
“In addition to being a great opportunity to show the world the spirit of Indonesian football, hosting the U-20 World Cup will also help develop the sport in the country, and there will be a significant infrastructure legacy that will benefit Indonesian football in the years to come. next year," he said.
Chairman of the All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), Mochamad Iriawan, said that the launch of the official emblem of the 2023 Indonesia U-20 World Cup which coincided with Indonesia's Independence Day signified that Indonesian football was ready to rise and look stunning on the world stage.

Of course this tournament will also leave many good things for the future development of Indonesian football, such as infrastructure and football development, said Iriawan.
PSSI Deputy Secretary General Maaike Ira Puspita, as Chair of the Local Committee, added, “The launch of the official emblem of the Indonesia U-20 World Cup 2023 is only the beginning of a series of activities to raise awareness and excitement among football fans in Indonesia and around the world. The Indonesian people are very enthusiastic about welcoming this tournament.”
