The logo of a company is generally a representation of the vision of the company or its founder. But things like this don't seem to apply to the electric car company Tesla.
The name Tesla adopted the name of the revolutionary American inventor Nikola Tesla who invented the alternating power supply system.
While the Tesla logo which looks like the letter 'T' is widely interpreted by the public as the initials of the Tesla name, it turns out that it means more than that.

Reporting from Foxnews, according to Tesla's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Elon Musk, the logo is a representation of the intersection between the stator and rotor on the electric motor and then given a design touch to make it look attractive.
The main part of the letter 'T' is the rotor, while the line above it which is slightly spaced apart is the stator.
Reporting from 1000logos, the Tesla logo is also made to resemble a shield as a representation of the company's commitment to maximizing the safety of Tesla car users.
In addition, the shield is also interpreted as maximum protection of the environment as one of the benefits of using electric cars.
On the lettering, the Tesla logo gives a distinctive touch. The text 'TESLA' contains some elements from the main image (T), and looks like a typeface from the past.

Then on the letters 'E' and 'A' in the text, some vertical lines are removed. If referring to the main logo, the distance created from the missing vertical line can be assumed as the magnetic field in the electric motor that interacts to create torque.
Further on the color, Tesla gives silver a bit white and black. The black color which is quite contrasting on a white background is said to be a representation of the contrast between old technology and today's technology (presented by Tesla).
Then the combination of slightly white and red silver is also displayed as a sign of electric car technology innovation aimed at the wider community.
